2012 marks the twenty third year of
the International Case Competition (ICC) at the Richard Ivey School of Business.
This year, we are pleased to welcome back our main sponsor and partner,
Scotiabank. Scotiabank shares our vision of joining international students
together to learn from each other. Indeed, the ICC exists to benefit its
participants, but its reason for existence is to expose Ivey students to future
business leaders around the world.
Over the course of the competition,
all students will have an unparalleled chance to be exposed to different
cultures and truly open a world of opportunity. The competition was initiated by
Professor Ken Hardy, named in honor of Harold Crookell.
During the competition the Richard
Ivey School of Business dedicates itself and its undergraduate Honors Business
Administration students to continuing the tradition of creating leaders that
think globally by integrating the curriculum with the competition. This one of a
kind event explores the diverse perspectives of a global marketplace and the
challenges faced by the participants in an international competition. This
competition is organized and managed entirely by Ivey students and the
competition consistently attracts teams from the best schools from all over the
world.
